Aqara Air Quality Sensor (Zigbee)
TVOC
TVOC Air Quality Monitor can detect the concentration and level of TVOC in the air, as well as temperature and humidity. Via connection to the hub you can receive notifications when the sensor detects temperature, TVOC and humidity changes.
The sensor is also compatible with other smart home tools to implement various smart scenarios, and send notifications to your mobile phone.
Screen display
The TVOC value is visible, the level is shown by green leaves. Temperature and humidity are also displayed, with support from preset values.
Last but not least, the sensor is equipped with a dot-matrix E-ink screen, which makes the display comparable to paper and protects your eyes.
Health effects of TVOC
The WHO report identified three main health outcomes of VOC:
- Odor and other sensory effects such as irritation
- Mucosal irritation and other morbidity caused by systemic toxicity
- Genotoxicity and carcinogenicity
